Welcome to Pafly. By using our application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Pafly is a mobile application for anonymous message exchange, designed as a daily writing ritual. Each user can write a short, free-form message that will later be read by a stranger. The identity of both the sender and the recipient is never revealed.
Pafly is not a social network, a messaging app, a public feed, or a real-time chat. It is an experience built on slowness, anonymity, fairness, and sincerity.
You can use Pafly without creating an account. By default, users connect via anonymous authentication. No real identity is required to start using the app.
Pafly works like a bottle on the water. You write a message and send it into the world. Meanwhile, messages from others may arrive at any time — no action is required to receive one. No message is duplicated. No message is artificially generated. Waiting time may vary depending on global activity. Waiting and uncertainty are part of the experience.
You may write a maximum of one message per day. Messages are free in tone and content, as long as they comply with our moderation rules.
Messages may be up to 500 characters. All messages must contain at least 50 characters.
By submitting a message, you grant Pafly a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, moderate, and deliver your message to another user within the application. You retain ownership of your content.
Every message is reviewed before being delivered. Moderation is handled by AI-powered content moderation. Offensive, hateful, violent, discriminatory, or illegal content is blocked and will not be distributed.
We reserve the right to block, filter, or remove any content that violates these terms or applicable law, at our sole discretion.
Users can react to received messages with any of the available reaction types. Only one reaction per message per user is allowed. All reactions are anonymous.
Users may send a short text reply (up to 280 characters) to received standalone messages. One reply per message is allowed.
If you receive content that is inappropriate, harmful, or violates these terms, you may report it using the Report reaction. We take reports seriously and will review flagged content.
Violations of these terms may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent suspension of your account, at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide notice before taking enforcement action.
Pafly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, delivery timing, or that every message will find a recipient.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pafly and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the application.
We are not responsible for the content of messages written by other users. Each user is solely responsible for the content they create and submit.
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your user data, message history, and all associated information from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
